Refund and Returns Policy
1. Overview
At Lince Race and Rally, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, we’re here to help. This policy sets out your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are not affected by this policy.
2. Your Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason.
To be eligible for a return under this right:

- You must notify us of your intention to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order

- Items must be returned to us within 14 days of notifying us

- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original condition, including all original packaging, labels, and accessories

- Items must not have been fitted to a vehicle, used or altered in any way
Please note: Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
3. How to Request a Return
To start a return, please contact us within the applicable timeframe.
Please include the following in your message:

- Your order number

- The item(s) you wish to return

- The reason for the return

- Whether you would like a refund or an exchange
We aim to respond within 3 business days with return instructions. Please do not send items back without first receiving authorisation from us, as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. In these cases:

- We will cover the cost of return postage

- You will be entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement at your choice (subject to availability)

- We may ask you to provide photographs of the fault or damage to help us resolve the issue quickly
If a fault develops after 30 days but within 6 months of purchase, we will offer a repair or replacement. If neither is possible, a full or partial refund will be provided. After 6 months, you may still be entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, though you may need to demonstrate that the fault was present at the time of purchase.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved:

- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days

- Original delivery charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns (unless the entire order was faulty or incorrect)

- Refunds may take additional time to appear depending on your bank or card provider
6. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item (for example, a different size or specification), please contact us as above. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the replacement item is of a different value, we will charge or refund the difference accordingly.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or incorrect:

- Items that have been installed, fitted, or used

- Items that have been modified or customised to your specification

- Electrical components that have been plugged in or powered on (unless faulty)

- Items returned without original packaging where the packaging is essential (e.g. tuning components)

- Clearance or final sale items, which are sold as seen (unless faulty)

- Items where the seal or safety sticker has been broken (e.g. certain performance parts)
8. Fitment & Compatibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any part or accessory is compatible with their vehicle before purchasing. We provide vehicle compatibility tools and filters on our website to assist you. If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your vehicle, please contact us before ordering.
We cannot accept returns on the basis of incorrect fitment where the customer selected an incompatible part, unless the product was incorrectly described on our website.
9. Warranty
Many of our products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and brand. If you experience an issue that may be covered under warranty, please contact us and we will liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf where possible.
